At the end of this week, the Wyoming High School Golf season will reach its mid-point.

The Week 3 schedule has players on the links each day this week. Casper, Lander, Thermopolis, Lovell, Jackson, Afton, Torrington, Moorcroft, and Upton host the golf tournaments.

Here is the schedule for Week 3 of the golf season. All schedules are subject to change. If you have an update, you can email david@wyopreps.com.

Monday, Aug. 21

Bobcat Fall Invite – at Thermopolis G.C. – Lovell, Powell, Thermopolis, Worland.

Erika Cook and Gunnar Erickson were the medalists. Lovell swept the team crowns.

Casper Invite – at Casper Municipal G.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Sheridan, Wheatland.

Isabell Salas from Green River and Shelbi Garder of Sheridan share the Day 1 lead. Natrona Black leads the team standings.

Isaac Schmidt of Kelly Walsh enjoys a 1-shot lead after the first round. Cheyenne East leads the team race by one, as well.

Terry Berg Invite – at Lander G.C. – Cody, Evanston, Kemmerer, Lander, Riverton.

Cody's Adelie Hall and Lander's Riley Stoudt have the lead after the first round. Both their teams are atop the standings, as well.

Tuesday, Aug. 22

Bulldog Invite – at Foster Gulch G.C. in Lovell – Lovell, Powell, Thermopolis, Worland.

Lovell's Erika Cook and Max Cooley won on their home course, individually. The Lovell girls and Powell boys took the team honors.

Casper Invite – at Paradise Valley G.C. – Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Cheyenne South, Green River, Kelly Walsh, Laramie, Natrona County, Sheridan, Wheatland.

Green River's Isabell Salas pulled away for an 11-shot win on the girls' side. Natrona Black won the team crown. Isaac Schmidt of Kelly Walsh held off challengers for a 1-shot win. Cheyenne East won the team title.

Terry Berg Invite – at Lander G.C. – Cody, Evanston, Kemmerer, Lander, Riverton.

Cody's Adelie Hall won the girls' division by 154 shots. She helped Cody take team honors, as well. For the boys, Lander's Riley Stoudt held on for a 1-shot victory and helped the Tigers claim the team title on their home course.

Wednesday, Aug. 23

Snake River Shootout – at Teton Pines G.C. in Jackson – Evanston, Jackson, Pinedale, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Tylynn McDonald and Parker Paxton, both from Riverton, have the Day 1 lead after play in Jackson. The team leaders after the 1st round are the Jackson girls and Evanston boys. Tomorrow shifts down to Afton.

Thursday, Aug. 24

Snake River Shootout – at Cedar Creek G.C. at Star Valley Ranch in Afton – Evanston, Jackson, Pinedale, Riverton, Rock Springs, Star Valley.

Jackson's Ceci Bruno won the girls' honor by two shots, while Riverton's Parker Paxton took the boys' medalist position by three shots. The Evanston girls and boys swept the team titles.

Torrington Invite – at Cottonwood G.C. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East JV, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Laramie, Thunder Basin, Torrington, Wheatland.

Only final results will be posted under the Friday date.

Friday, Aug. 25

Keyhole Invite – at Keyhole G.C. – Big Horn, Glenrock, Lusk, Moorcroft, Sundance, Ten Sleep, Tongue River, Upton, Wright.

Savanah Peterson of Sundance was the girls' medalist and helped Sundance to the team crown. Upton's Bridger Bruce took the boys' medalist honor and helped the Bobcats win the team title.

Torrington Invite – at Cottonwood G.C. – Campbell County, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East JV, Cheyenne South, Douglas, Laramie, Thunder Basin, Torrington, Wheatland.

Wheatland's Lily Nichols and Tate Nichols swept the THS Invite. The Wheatland girls and Campbell County boys the team titles.

 

Saturday, Aug. 26

Upton Invite – at Cedar Pines G.C. – Big Horn, Glenrock, Lusk, Moorcroft, Sundance, Ten Sleep, Tongue River, Upton, Wright

Upton swept the medalist honors with Ciarra Moore winning by 1 shot in the girls' division and Logan Timberman winning by 5 shots in the boys. The Sundance girls and Upton boys took the team titles.
