Lawsen Quist of Cheyenne South has plenty of experience in high school and club soccer and will take those abilities to Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota. She was a 4A All-Conference selection in 2024  with a 2nd team All-State designation and heading into her senior season with the Bison, Quist is the school's all-time leading goal scorer. Last season, she was super-productive on offense, finding the back of the net 13 times.

The 5-3 midfielder has achieved great success at the club level, playing with the U-19 Cheyenne Sting Elite, the Wyoming Olympics Development team, and the Wyoming 307 Select program. Quist has led the Cheyenne Sting squad in scoring for the last 3 seasons.

Quist also played basketball for Cheyenne South, averaging 4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.9 steals per game. Black Hills State is a Division II school that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
