
Rian Barthel of Natrona to Join Black Hills St. Soccer Program
Rian Barthel has made a name for herself as a top-notch goal-keeper in 4A Girls Soccer and will be taking those abilities to the college level at Black Hills State in Spearfish, South Dakota. She is a three-time 4A All-State selection as a keeper, posting 5 shut-outs in her junior season. Barthel is also a team captain for the Fillies.
Barthel has over 200 saves in her prep career with NC and has been selected to the West Region Olympic Development Team twice, the Wyoming Olympic Development team four times and the Wyoming Select team 5 times. She has extensive club experience and has made the honor roll in academics 4 times.
Black Hills State is a Division II institution that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
