Reed McFadden of Lander proved once again that he is one of the state's finest all-around athletes. At the State Track and Field Meet over the weekend in Casper, he swept the 3A Hurdles races with a winning time of 15.19 in the 110 and 39.23 in the 300. He also cleared 14-3 to win the 3A Pole vault and in 2023, he was the state champion in the 3A 400 Meters.

McFadden is a major force in the swimming pool for that powerful Lander program with 2 state titles this past season. He won the 3A 200 IM and the 100 Fly plus he was the leadoff swimmer in the Tigers state championship 200 Medley Relay. McFadden was the anchor for Lander's 2nd place finish in the 200 Free Relay.

He'll take his track and field talents to the Ivy League to compete for Princeton in the fall and he shared some thoughts about his efforts at the State Track Meet and the journey moving forward.
