
Cami Costello from Casper-Natrona Inks with Colorado Mesa for Track
Cami Costello has a ton of athletic ability as she has been a solid three-sport athlete for Natrona. She will pursue track and field at the next level, committing to Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction. Just this year. Costello has taken up the hurdles and finished 1st in last week's Early Bird Meet in Casper last week with a winning time of 47.67.
At the 2024 State Outdoor Track Meet, she placed 6th in the 4A 200-meter dash in 25.84, 6th in the triple jump at 35-2, 8th in the 400 meters with a clocking of 59.34, and her 4x400 relay team placed 3rd with Costello running the anchor leg.
Costello was an All-State volleyball player in 4A for the Fillies in 2024, with 320 kills and 374 digs, plus she was an All-Conference player in her junior season.. Her productivity carried to the basketball floor as she rang up 110 steals for NC in the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 7 points and 4 rebounds per game. She earned an All-Conference designation for her efforts. In her junior season, Costello was a 45% shooter from the 2-point range and threw in 5 points per game along with 4 rebounds per contest.
Colorado Mesa is a Division II school that is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
