Cody distance runner Charlie Hulbert found himself on top of the podium plenty of times in his senior season and will run track at the college level at Alaska-Anchorage. At the 2024 State Outdoor Track Championships, Hulbert won the 4A title in the 800 meters in 1.57.14 and also won the 1600 meters in 4.23.34. In addition to those state championships, his 1600 medley relay team also placed 1st. Hulbert had a solid outdoor track season as a junior as he took 3rd at the State Championships in the 800 and the 1600 with his 4x800 relay team placing 2nd and the 1600 medley squad taking 7th.

Hulbert also excelled on the indoor track circuit as he won the 3A State Championship in the 800 with a clocking of 1.57.26. He placed 2nd in the 1600 at the State Meet in Gillette and also won a state crown with his 1600 medley relay team. He was a member of the Cody 4x800 relay team that took the silver medal. As a junior on the indoor circuit, Hulbert was 7th in both the 3A 800 and 1600 and his 1600 medley team took 2nd.

If that wasn't enough, Hulbert is the reigning 3A State Champion in cross country with a time of 16.10.2. He placed 3rd at the 3A State Meet as a junior, 16th as a sophomore, and 22nd as a freshman.
