PhotoFest! Boys State Wrestling Semi-Finals

The semi-final round of the Boys State Wrestling Tournament in Casper is in the books, which sets up a compelling Finals agenda on Saturday afternoon at the Ford Center. In 4A, Thunder Basin has a commanding lead in the team standings with 231.5 points. Kelly Walsh is 2nd with 164.5, Cheyenne East 3rd with 160, Star Valley is 4th with 123.5 and Natrona 5th with 120.5. Thunder Basin has a remarkable, 7 guys in the finals on Saturday afternoon, with Kelly Walsh and East with 5.

Over in 3A, Powell still has the lead with 188.5 points, followed by Pinedale with 168, Cody with 160, Torrington in 4th with 110.5 and Rawlins 5th with 105.5. Powell put 5 guys into the finals, Pinedale has 6 and Cody has 4.

In 2A, it's going down to the wire as Kemmerer has a one point lead over Moorcroft heading into the final day of competition 164-163. Thermopolis is lurking in 3rd with 151, Cokeville 4th with 101.5 and Greybull/Riverside is 5th with 98.5. Kemmerer and Thermopolis have 5 wrestlers in the finals and Moorcroft has 4.
