The Wyoming Indian girls basketball team defeated Pine Bluffs 63-54 to get to the 2A title game for the 3rd straight year. At one point, Wyoming Indian led by as many as 13 but Pine Bluffs chipped away in the 2nd half thanks to a series of baskets from Kammie Ragsdale. The Lady Chiefs hit a ton of free throws down the stretch to seal the win to get to 27-1on the year. Wyoming Indian was led by Angela Astorga with 13 with Sandie Friday adding 13. Pine Bluufs got 25 points from Ragsdale and 12 from Dylan Sweeter. Wyoming Indian lost to Sundance in last years 2A title game and last won a state championship in 2004.
