The top two teams in Class 3A changed in the new WyoPreps Coaches and Media Football Poll.

A new team also made its debut in the 9-man rankings.

Let’s start in Class 3A, where, to no surprise, the Star Valley Braves were a unanimous choice for No. 1. They received all 27 first-place votes. Powell also moved up one spot into second. That meant the Cody Broncs fell two positions to third. Buffalo and Douglas remained fourth and fifth.

The Riverside Rebels were the new entrant in the Class 1A 9-man poll. The Rebels earned just enough votes and snagged fifth. Pine Bluffs remained at the top with 13 of the 18 first-place votes. Wind River held second. Lingle-Ft. Laramie was alone in third. Both the Cougars and Dogger got first-place votes. Big Piney dropped from a tie for third down to fourth.

In Class 4A, it was only a swap of two teams in the middle. Sheridan was at the top again with 18 of the 19 first-place votes. Cheyenne East held second. Natrona County and Campbell County traded spots. The Mustangs moved up to third, and the Camels dropped to fourth. Thunder Basin remained fifth.

There were no changes in Class 2A or Class 1A 6-man.

Mountain View was a unanimous pick at the top of 2A with 21 first-place votes. They are followed by Big Horn, Lovell, Cokeville, and Tongue River.

Little Snake River received all 17 first-place votes in the 6-man division. Encampment held onto second. Burlington, Dubois, and Kaycee rounded out the top five.
