WyoPreps Game of the Week: Natrona at East [VIDEO]
The WyoPreps big school Game of the Week as voted by the fans takes us to Class 4A. It has No. 1 Cheyenne East hosting No. 3 Natrona County Mustangs.
Both teams opened the 2022 season with a victory in Week 0.
The Thunderbirds beat Campbell County, 49-12, in Gillette. East used four TDs in the third quarter to pull away.
Natrona topped Laramie, 29-0, in Casper. They turned a 7-0 halftime lead into a blowout. Rogan Potter caught two TD passes and added two field goals. The Mustangs out-gained the Plainsmen, 379-to-33 in total offensive yards.

WyoPreps spoke with East head coach Chad Goff and Natrona County head coach Steve Harshman about the match-up. The conversation centered around what each coach saw from his own team in the Week 0 game, some key personnel, what they were expecting from each other, and some keys to the game.
This game will be the 71st in the series. NC leads 45-25, but the Thunderbirds have won the last five, according to wyoming-football.com.
The kick-off is at 6 p.m. in Cheyenne from Okie Blanchard Stadium.
