The State Track Meet for the boys was highlighted on Thursday by all-star distance runner Peter Visser from Star Valley in Class 4A. He set the all-class record in the 3200 meter run with a time of 9.18.79. He's had an amazing career with the Braves and there's more to come. Gaige Vielhauer of Sheridan won the 4A discus with a throw of 160 feet 2 inches. Laramie's Aiden Morris prevailed at 15-6 to win the pole vault. Sheridan won the 1600 medley relay.

In 3A, the 3200-meter winner was Caleb Simonson of Lander in 10.00.19. Lovell took the tape in the 1600 medley and in the field events, Teagan Bowers of Pinedale leaped 21.7.25 to win the long jump.

In 2A Greybull's Gavin McColloch ran 10.19.29 to win the 3200 with Wind River capturing the 1600 medley. Rocky Mountain's Trevor Jewell won the long jump at 21-3.50.

Finally in 1A, Grant Bartlett of Saratoga won the 3200 in 10.34.08 with Grady Bartlett of Saratoga 2nd.  Upton was the winner in the 1600 medley. Kaden Dower of Western Heritage threw 133-11 to win the 1A discus.
