The 2025 Wyoming Legion Baseball season enters Week 4. Six more teams will debut on the diamond this week. Laramie’s A team, Torrington, both Casper teams, Evanston, and the Cheyenne Eagles are scheduled to play their first games of the new season. A lot of this week’s slate features regional opponents. Except for three twin bills, Saturday and Sunday will be packed with action, weather permitting.

MONDAY, APRIL 21:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 11, Rapid City Stevens Varsity 5 - Down 3-2, the Riders took the lead with a 5-run 4th inning and capped it with 4 more runs in the 6th. Craig had a 3-run triple, and Petersen and Wasson added 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 8, Rapid City (SD) Stevens Varsity 7 (9 inns) - Partlow's RBI single in the bottom of the 8th sent the Riders to the walk-off win. Gillette rallied from 2-0 & 7-3 deficits. They scored 4 in the 7th to tie it. Partlow had 2 hits & 2 RBIs, while Loftus added a 2-run double.

TUESDAY, APRIL 22:

Final Score: Gillette Riders 19, Spearfish (SD) Spartans 1 - the Riders scored 18 runs in the 1st two innings. Newman had 2 hits & 4 RBIs. Gillette took advantage of 13 walks & 3 errors.

Final Score: Gillette Riders 16, Spearfish Spartans 1 - the Riders broke open a 3-1 game with 13 runs in the 6th inning. Loftus had 4 hits & 3 RBIs. Partlow & Schilling added 3 RBIs each.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23:

Final Score: Torrington Tigers 16, Laramie Rangers A 3 - Tigers win a match-up between 2 teams making their season debut. The Tigers trailed 1-0 but scored 3 in the 3rd and 3 runs in the 4th, and then added 10 more over the next two frames. Shields had 3 hits (3B) & 7 RBIs. Kramer added 3 hits (2B) & 3 RBIs.

SATURDAY, APRIL 26:

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 6, Cheyenne Sixers 3 - a 5-run 4th inning for RC was the difference.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats 18, Cheyenne Sixers 9 -  RC jumped out to an 11-0 lead.Pacheco had 2 hits & 5 RBIs for the Sixers.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 8, Rapid City Post 22 Expos 2 - leading 4-0, the Hawks put it away with 4 more runs in the 5th inning. Frogge had 2 hits & 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks, 7, Rapid City (SD) Post 22 Expos 6 - the Hawks scored 5 runs in the 5th to take the lead and hold off the Expos. Hall & Frogge with 2 hits & 1 RBI each.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 20, Rock Springs Stallions 0 - the Oilers scored 10 runs in the 3rd and added 7 in the 4th to close it out early. Pexton had 3 hits (2B) & 4 RBIs, Deveraux added 3 hits (2B, 3B) & 3 RBIs, and Parks had 2 hits (2B, 3B) & 5 RBIs. Miner allowed 1 hit over 3 innings with 5 Ks.

Final Score: Casper Oilers 15, Rock Springs Stallions 0 - the Oilers scored 5 runs in each inning for three straight innings. Nicholls paced Casper with 3 hits (3B) & 4 RBIs. Nowakowski & Svejkovsky combined on a 2-hit shutout with 11 Ks.

Final Score: Evanston Outlaws 11, Laramie Rangers A 1 - a 7-run 5th inning pushed the Outlaws to the victory. Bateman had 2 hits & 2 RBIs. Three more Evanston hitters had 2 RBIs apiece.

Final Score: Evanston Outlaws 7, Laramie Rangers A 6 - the Outlaws got the sweep after trailing 3-0, then taking the lead with a 5-run 6th. Laramie answered with 3 in the 7th but fell short. Oliver had 2 hits & 2 RBIs for Evanston. Laramie took advantage of 8 walks & 2 errors.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 9, Rapid City Post 22 18U 2 - the Troopers used a 5-run 4th inning in the win. Greer & Phillips had 2 RBIs each. Lamb chipped in 3 hits.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 18U 8, Sheridan Troopers 5 - RC scored 7 of the last 8 runs of the game. Araas had 2 hits & drove in one run.

Final Score: Cheyenne Eagles 10, Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 6 - a 6-run 5th propelled the Eagles to the game one win. Baldwin had a triple & 3 RBIs. Morss added 2 RBIs.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 16, Cheyenne Eagles 0 - RC had a no-hitter.

SUNDAY, APRIL 27:

Final Score: Cheyenne Hawks 13, Rapid City Post 22 Expos 5 - the Hawks scored 6 runs in the 5th to pull away. Z. Hall had 2 hits (2B) & 4 RBIs.

Final Score: Evanston Outlaws 12, Laramie Rangers A 10 - the Outlaws had a pair of 5-run innings and held off Laramie A. Kaman homered, tripled & drove in 5 runs for Evanston.

Final Score: Sheridan Troopers 2, Rapid City Post 22 18U 1 - Sheridan scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and held on. Phillips & Kula combined to limit RC to 1 unearned run on 2 hits.

Final Score: Rapid City Post 22 Bullets 13, Cheyenne Eagles 12 - after taking the lead with 7 runs in the top of the 7th, the Eagles gave up 4 runs to RC in a walk-off loss.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 10, Casper Drillers 5 - the Cubs scored 4 runs in the last two frames. Cody took advantage of 5 walks & 6 errors.

Final Score: Cody Cubs 13, Casper Drillers 5 - the Cubs jumped out to a 6-1 lead and never trailed. Phillips had 4 hits (3-3B) & 2 RBIs, McCarten added 3 hits & 3 RBIs, and Bailey contributed 2 hits & 5 RBIs.

Final Score: Douglas Cats 15, Wheatland Lobos 6 - the Cats jumped out 9-1 and added 6 more runs in the 4th inning. Carter had 4 hits & 3 RBIs, and Ohnstad added 2 hits & 3 RBIs.
