
Lee Maestas from Rawlins Commits to Blue Mountain Community College for Baseball
Lee Maestas, a senior at Rawlins High School, has signed to play baseball at the next level at Blue Mountain Community College. Maestas has played with the Rawlins Bandits Legion baseball program but is currently with the Riverton Raiders, after Rawlins opted to play at the ‘B’ level in the 2025 season.
In nine games so far with the Raiders, Maestas has a .385 batting average with ten hits and six RBIs. He has one double, has scored eight runs, and drawn seven walks. Maestas has worked a team-high 15.2 innings as a pitcher and is 1-1 with a 4.021 ERA. He has 18 strikeouts and allowed only five walks for Riverton.
In the 2024 season, Maestas earned Second-team all-conference honors in the Single-A West Conference with the Bandits. He had a .333 batting average with four RBIs and 14 runs scored. Maestas had three doubles and one triple. He was 9-for-9 in stolen bases. On the mound, Lee had two wins and a 2.38 ERA. He finished with 59 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.26. Maestas made 59 putouts last year.

Blue Mountain Community College is in Pendleton, OR. The Timberwolves compete in the Eastern Region of the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges.
