Welcome to the 1,000-Point Club, Buffalo’s Karly Davis
Buffalo High School guard Karly Davis has passed 1,000 points in her prep career. The junior accomplished the feat in a game at No. 2 Douglas on Feb. 21, 2025. She celebrated her achievement the next day after the Bison’s home game against No. 1 Cody. The two-time all-state and all-conference selection has helped Buffalo finish second in Class 3A in her first two years of high school basketball.
Last weekend, in a win at Newcastle, Davis became the school’s all-time scoring leader. The junior is averaging 18.7 points per game this season. That is fifth in Class 3A. She shoots 37 percent from the floor, 30 percent from beyond the arc, and 73 percent at the free-throw line. Davis adds 2.1 assists and 2.4 steals per game. She helped Buffalo to an 11-9 record in the 2025 regular season. The Bison went 7-3 in conference games and have the third seed at the 3A East Regional Tournament.
Davis led Buffalo to a 22-4 record and a runner-up finish at the 3A state tournament in the 2023-24 season. She averaged 17.2 points per game last year as a sophomore. Davis shot 44 percent from the field and 36 percent from deep. She added 2.3 assists per game.
In her freshman year of 2022-23, Davis averaged 9.7 points per game and shot 36 percent on field goals. The Bison went 21-5 and took second place at the 3A state tournament.

Congratulations to Karly on 1,000 points and counting!
