Big Horn Girls Basketball Wrap

The ladies from Big Horn had a nice run through the 2A State Tournament to finish 5th. The Rams did have a tough encounter with Wyoming Indian that resulted in a 59-47 loss. This was a game where there were a combined 43 points in the 4th quarter. Sydney Schmidt had 12 points in that game, Aliysn Hutton had 11 and Courtney Wallach chipped in 10. Big Horn stayed alive in the tournament with a 33-20 win over Rocky Mountain with Wallach leading the way with 14. The Rams concluded the season with a 5th place finish at state thanks to a 32-31 victory over Greybull. Hutton and Schmidt each had 8, Those 2 ladies were seniors and Hutton earned all-state status. But Wallach returns as a senior, one of two that the team is expected to have in 2019-20.
