Brinley Green of Rawlins to Wrestle at Sioux Falls

Rawlins senior Brinley Green has signed to continue her wrestling career at the next level.

Green will be heading to the University of Sioux Falls in South Dakota.

As a junior, Green won the 138-141 weight class at last season’s state championship for girls in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center back in March.

She is now part of the first official season of girls’ high school wrestling in Wyoming. The sport was sanctioned last April.

Green just won the 140-pound title at the Battle in the Big Horns in Worland last weekend. She beat her teammate by fall. The week before she won the 136-139 title at the Charlie Lake Invite.

The University of Sioux Falls competes in NCAA Division II. The Cougars are members of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NISC).
