Buffalo Libero Cassidy Bessler Reaches Volleyball Milestone

Our first milestone of the prep sports year came from volleyball. Buffalo senior Cassidy Bessler surpassed 1,000 digs in her career.

Bessler accomplished the feat last Friday at the Gillette Invite. She is in her fourth year as the libero for the Bison. Buffalo is ranked No. 2 in our WyoPreps Coaches and Media Volleyball Poll.

Bessler earned an all-state award in the 2022 season. She’s also been all-conference twice in her high school volleyball career. She celebrated the honor with her teammates.

Besides volleyball, Bessler plays basketball and soccer at BHS. She was an all-state selection in soccer last spring. Bessler also serves on the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) Student Advisory Council.

At school, she is the Vice President of the student council and is also active in 4-H and FFA. Bessler carries a 4.6 cumulative GPA.
