Campbell County Boys Basketball Postgame Remarks
Campbell County was the #1 scoring team in 4A Boys' Basketball this season, and the Camels gave opposing defenses something to think about. On Saturday in Casper, Campbell County won the 4A State Championship, knocking off Laramie 62-55. It was their first State Title since 2018, and they finished the year with a record of 17-8.
The Camels had 3 guys averaging in double-figures this season, led by Lane Hladky who threw in 18 per game. Truman DeGrange who played at Sheridan last season averaged 16 a game and Jack Andela was a 15 points per game guy. In the 4A Championship in Laramie, DeGrange had a solid game with 21 points on 7-16 from the floor, Hladky contributed 15 with Andela putting in 14. The big 3 came through big-time when it really mattered for the Camels.
This group made exponential progress from a year ago when they won just 5 games and we talked with Andela and DeGrange about their shining moment in March Madness
