Cheyenne Central soccer player Makyleigh Howard will be moving up to the next level as she has committed to the Wyoming Cowgirl soccer program in Laramie. She is a two-time all-state selection in 4A and a three-time all-conference pick. Her season was canceled due to the pandemic.

Over the course of three years at Central, the 5-5 forward scored 56 goals and 28 in her sophomore season. The Indians enjoyed great success with her on the pitch with a 2nd place finish in 4A in 2019, a state championship in 2018, and a 3rd place finish at state in 2017.

She was also selected to play in the Allstate All-America Cup all-star matches in Florida last summer.
