Cheyenne Central won twice as many games as they lost and received a solid season from Ellie Fearneyhough. The 5-9 junior averaged 11 points a game and earned all-state designation. This was a team with just 3 seniors so bigger and better things may be in store for the Indians. At the State Tournament in Casper, Central got off to a rough start in their game with Star Valley and lost in the opening round 48-34. Jordan Jones was the only Central player in double figures with 11 points. The Indians went 1-14 from the 3 point line in that contest. In the consolation round, Central was eliminated by Green River 49-40 Fearneyhough had 10 as the Indians went 1-8 from the 3 point line. The future does look solid for this Central program so they may be a handful in 2019-20.
