Cheyenne Post Six has dominated Wyoming American Legion baseball for the last two decades with 18 state championships over a 21-year period. This year's edition is loaded with returning all-state players and swept the Casper Oilers in a doubleheader at Powers Field on Tuesday night 7-5 and 14-4.

The Sixers rebounded from a 5 error loss to the Colorado Slammers in the Firecracker tournament over the weekend and this program does not shy away from top-notch competition. Post 6 is 43-9 on the year and has won 9 of 10 conference games.  They are strong on the mound and the hitting is coming around. Needless to say, they are going to be tough to beat when the state tournament rolls around.

We had a chance to talk with Colter McAnelly and  Zack Costopoulos about the team's fortunes to date and their individual progress. Plus we have a few photos from that Tuesday twinbill. Enjoy!
