PhotoFest! Cheyenne Volleyball Tournament

The volleyball season tipped off over the weekend with several tournaments state-wide. Cheyenne played host to a 14-team tournament on Friday and Saturday so these squads finally got to play some outside competition.

Defending 4A champion Laramie went 5-0 with Kelly Walsh going 4-1. According to the scores reported to WyoPreps, Thunder Basin was 3-0, Green River, Cheyenne East, and Riverton went 3-2, Cheyenne Central and Campbell County were 2-3, Sheridan 2-2, Star Valley 1-3, Rock Springs 1-4 with Cheyenne South and Rawlins going 1-4.

It's still very early in the season so teams are getting an idea of their strengths and weaknesses. There's plenty of room for growth with every team in the state this time of year.
