Kemmerer's Colter Julian will continue his wrestling journey at the college level at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado. Julian took 3rd in the 2A 126 pound weight class this past season with an overall record of 32-6. He lost a tough semi-final match to eventual state champion Quinton Hecker of Lovell 3-2.

Julian was a state champion in 2019 as a junior at 126 in 2A with a 7-2 win over Wyatt McDermott of Thermopolis and completed that season 37-11. He was named all state an his Kemmerer team took 2nd at the state tournament.

As a sophomore, Julian once again placed 3rd at 126 with another tough loss in the state semi-finals, this time to Dax Yerardi of Wright 2-0. Julian was 37-13  in 2018. Way back as a freshman, Julian took 6th in 2A at 113 pounds with a 31-13 overall record.

He also played football and in his senior year, he registered 62 tackles, 41 of those solo. Julian had 183 yards rushing for the year and 291 yards of kick-off returns.
