The Douglas Cats figure they have as good a chance as any in the Legion "A" ranks after taking 2 out of 3 in the Bolln Tournament over the weekend at Nida Field. The Cats started out tournament play with an 8-0 win over Torrington on Friday as pitcher Carson Selk struck out 7. On Saturday. Douglas rallied to beat Green River 7-5 as Jacob Russell homered and had 2 RBI's in the contest. The Cats did lose the Bolln Tournament championship game 5-2 to the Casper Drillers. Th3e Cats sit at 17-18 on the year but slowly but surely, they seem to be finding some traction.

Carson Selk has a live arm on the mound for Douglas and he has signed with Iowa Wesleyan to continue his career. We had a chance to talk with Selk and Douglas player Cameryn Spence after their big win over Torrington on Friday night.
