Dubois Starts Quickly to Down Hulett in 6 Man Opener
Dubois and Hulett started the 6-man season over the weekend as they met in Ten Sleep and Dubois scored 58 points in the first half and won it going away 58-14. Dubois beat Hulett in the playoffs last season and the Rams return a super player in Wyatt Trembly who ran for 1634 yards and 26 touchdowns. In that contest against Hulett, Trembly ran the ball a dozen times for 157 yards and 4 touchdowns. The team as a group had 214 yards on the ground. Trembly had 5 solo tackles on defense and 5 assisted tackles.
Hulett a year ago had just one loss a year ago after going 8-0 during the regular season. The Red Devils had 8 points in the first quarter against Dubois and 6 in the 2nd quarter but nothing in the 2nd half. They do have a couple of returning all-conference picks in kade Smith and Hunter Reilly but they did lose some stalwarts on defense to graduation.
Dubois has a huge home game on Friday afternoon against defending 1A 6-man champion Little Snake River. Hulett on the other hand will be at home against Burlington on Saturday.
Take a look at some great photos of that Dubois-Hulett game in our gallery below. A big thanks to Adria Trembly for those images. enjoy!
