The 28th CanAm Bowl, a premier 6-man all-star football showdown between Team USA and Team Canada, is set for July 4, 2026, in Meeteetse, Wyoming. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. Team USA features some top players from Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, and Texas. Meeteetse is hosting for the second time in three years, following the town's hosting of the first CanAm Bowl played in the US in 2024.

In 2026, former Farson assistant coach Scott Reed will lead Team USA as head coach. He will be assisted by Sam Weeldreyer of Little Snake River, Zeb Hagen from Meeteetse, and Thomas Tritz from Coolidge, TX.

Four players from high schools in Wyoming will represent the Cowboy State in this year’s game. Jacob Moody from Meeteetse will play one more game on his home field. He’s joined by Farson-Eden’s Kole Johnson, plus Deke Latham and Granit Ready from Little Snake River in Baggs.

CanAm Bowl Series History

Team USA has won four straight games in the series and 13 of the last 14 overall. The US leads the all-time series, 22-5. The game features graduated seniors from both countries. The first CanAm Bowl was played in 1997. In 2025, the US defeated Canada, 70-52.
