Star Valley's Emily Dana Signs with Big Bend College

Star Valley's Emily Dana was her team's leading scorer and rebounder in basketball in 2024-25 and will be taking her abilities to Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake, Washington. Dana averaged 11.7 and 6.3 rebounds per game last season for the Braves, and that kind of effort earned her 4A All-State status. She had a season high of 23 points vs. Kelly Walsh and 3 17-point games.

In her junior season, Dana was named All-Conference in 4A, throwing in 8.5 points per game and grabbing 7 boards per contest. Her season high in that season was 25 points vs. Soda Springs, Idaho.

Big Bend is a junior college institution that competes in the Northwest Athletic Conference.
