The Evanston Red Devils have absorbed some excruciating losses in 3A football so far this season, dropping a 1-point decision to Lander and a 4-point defeat to Riverton. But the Outlaws put it all together on Friday night with a convincing 32-7 home win over Green River. Evanston is now 2-3 and 1-0 in the 3A West.

Evanston went right to work in the opening quarter on a 2-yard plunge for a touchdown from Brayden Wallace to give the Outlaws a 7-point lead. They found the end zone again in the 2nd quarter as Braunson Sims tossed a 6-yard TD pass to Clayton Cook to double the lead to 14 and the Outlaws led by 17 at the halftime break.

Braxton Hanks contributed a pair 2nd half touchdowns from 2 and 9 yards out while Green River rang up a 5-yard TD run from Dax Taylor. The Wolves are 1-4 on the year and will host Jackson this week while Evanston has a tough game on Friday on the road in Cody.
