After a tough start against some teams in higher classifications, the Farson-Eden Pronghorns girls’ basketball team is starting to come together.

Class 1A Farson-Eden faced three Class 3A opponents and a Grace, ID team that is 11-3 to start their season.

The Pronghorns have found their stride. They have won five of their last seven and are 5-6 on the season. That includes a 2-1 record in the 1A Southwest Quadrant.

The Farson-Eden girls are led by senior Ighlee Thoren, who is averaging 12.5 points per game. She also leads the team in assists and steals.

WyoPreps’ David Settle caught up with three seniors, Thoren, plus Shelby Madsen and Brenlee Logan, after their recent victory on the road at Encampment. They talked briefly about the win, how their season is going, improvements to make in the next month and some fun items around high school basketball in the video at the top of the story.

These are some highlights of the Pronghorns from their win at Encampment on Jan. 23, 2021.

The Pronghorns will have the benefit of being at home for the 1-day Regional Quad. They host the 1A Southwest girls’ teams on Thursday, Feb. 25.
