High School football practice is underway for teams around the state, as they prepare for the upcoming 2026 season. That includes the Class 3A Jackson Broncs. They finished the 2025 season with a 6-4 record but fell in the first round of the playoffs to Lander, 55-35.

WYOPREPS PREVIEWS THE 2026 JACKSON BRONCS

Jackson returns 11 total starters, including 8 on the offensive side of the ball. They've got plenty of experience to lean on, as well, with 33 seniors on the roster this fall. The Broncs do have two key losses to graduation to replace: QB Grant Johnson and wideout Tyson Kendall. Both were all-state in 2025, and Kendall was a two-time selection.

Jackson will look to returning all-conference running back Cooper Kintzler to lead the way. Ace Emory will step in at QB. WyoPreps spoke to those two and lineman Wyatt Timboe during our first stop on the 2026 WyoPreps Preseason Tour. We discussed how things are early in fall camp, what the team will be like this year, how they'll utilize their speed, the big senior class, some fun items, and more. WyoPreps also got the perspective of third-year head coach Keith Johnson.
