Gillette’s Ella Partlow Will Play Softball in College

Thunder Basin senior Ella Partlow will continue her softball career at the next level with the Utah State Eastern Eagles.

Partlow signed a few weeks ago surrounded by family and coaches. She is the third member of her class to sign for softball in college, joining Emma Kimberling and Lauren O’Loughlin.

A first-team all-state selection, Partlow helped Thunder Basin to a 24-4 record last spring and the 2022 Wyoming High School Softball state championship.

She was 11-1 as a pitcher with 127 strikeouts and only 28 walks last year. Partlow had an earned run average of 2.88 and opponents had a batting average of only .249 against her.

At the plate, Partlow hit .417 with 35 hits and 35 RBIs. She had ten doubles and eight home runs last season.

Utah State University Eastern is in Price, UT. The Eagles compete at the NJCAA level of intercollegiate athletics and are a member of the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
