Gillette’s Nate Perleberg Discusses Getting Ready To Host State

The Double-A Wyoming American Legion Baseball state tournament is just two weeks away. It runs July 26-30 in Gillette.

The Roughriders are getting their facility in the Razor City ready for five days of baseball action.

Gillette manager Nate Perleberg talked with WyoPreps’ David Settle about preparations for this year, but also next year’s Northwest Regional that will be at Hladky Stadium. They also discussed how things are going for the Roughriders in the 2019 season.

After a tough loss to Cheyenne Post Six, 6-3, Wednesday, Gillette bounced back with a pair of victories Thursday at the CABA World Series in Cheyenne. The Roughriders beat Pueblo, CO Azteca 6-4 and the Laramie Rangers 5-1. Gillette is now 55-17 on the season.
