Highlights of the Thursday, March 15th girls soccer game between Cheyenne Central and Natrona.

Scroll down to watch the highlights of the game!

The Lady Indians would score a first half goal, and it would hold in the first game of the season.

Now there’s nothing unusual about these guys…what’s unusual is that it’s March and for once the weather is cooperating, so that this can happen!

Central at Natrona to start the season…first half…Central wearing the red and trying to strike from the corner…they decide to try the low road, but Kaitlin Conley will smother that attempt which will keep the visitors off of the scoreboard for a little while.

They’d keep trying…Makayla McBride is going to try to set up the ball for Christie Schiel...got to work to a little bit on the finish though…no big deal…it’s only the first game of the season.

The Lady Indians stayed after it…this time from the near corner…the first shot hits the cross-bar and is no good, but Schiel was in the right place at the right time to put in the rebound…and the visitors would take a 1-nothing lead, going into halftime.

2nd half…Central and Schiel were looking for more…there’s not much room between the cross bar and the football goal cross-bar…but somehow she managed to almost get the ball in there. The call ended up being out of bounds.

Natrona has not had much going on up to this point…Laura Stamp is going to put her foot down on this long free kick. Kacee Walsh kept her eye on the ball and would keep the Fillies out of the net on that try.

N-C would keep pressing though…Erin Devault is going to fire on the run…and Walsh had to swat that one away…the rebound try ended up going way too high.

In the end, the Central Lady Indians would start their season off on a good note…winning 1-to-nil.
