Gillette's Alyssa Harcharik is Heading to the U. of Mary for Golf

Thunder Basin senior Alyssa Harcharik has signed to continue her golf career in college at the University of Mary in North Dakota. Harcharik led the Bolts and finished tied for ninth at the 4A state golf championships in Sheridan last September. She fired rounds of 94 and 91 for a total of 185 at the Powder Horn Golf Club. Harcharik helped Thunder Basin to a fourth-place finish in the team standings.

Harcharik earned all-state honors from the Wyoming Coaches Association as a senior with her finish in the top 10 at the state championships. She qualified and played at the 4A state championships her final three seasons in high school. Harcharik finished in the top 27 each of her three years at state golf. She recorded many top 10 finishes throughout her four-year career.
