Pinedale senior Josh Gosar has reached a milestone in his prep basketball career. The Wrangler passed 1,000 career points in a road win at Kemmerer on Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023. Gosar helped Pinedale beat the Rangers 76-48. He scored 29 points in the victory.

Gosar is averaging 16.7 points and shooting 36 percent from the field so far during the 2023-24 season. He leads the Wranglers at 7.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 3.2 steals per game. Pinedale is 3-3 before the holiday break in the current season.

As a junior, Gosar was an all-state and all-conference selection after the 2022-23 season. He averaged a team-best 16.2 points and shot 37 percent from the floor last year. Gosar added 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. The Wranglers finished last season at 11-13 overall.

Gosar averaged 12.2 points per game as a sophomore in the 2021-22 season. As a freshman in the 2020-21 season, Gosar poured in 13.6 points per game.
