Green River's Braxton Cordova Three-Peats as 3A Diving Champion

For the last 3 years, it's been Braxton Cordova and everybody else in 3A diving, Cordova became one of just 4 boys to win 3 consecutive state titles in the 3A ranks in this event, joining Adam Miller of Newcastle, Austin Rettinghouse of Worland and Garret Hamilton of Lander who won 4 straight championships.

Cordova had the lead heading into Friday's finals at the Campbell County Aquatic Center in Gillette and finished with 437.85 points to outdistance Noah Larson of Lander and Mason Lemley of Riverton. In 2022, Cordova won the state title with 447.4 points and as a sophomore, he took the podium with 421.2 points.

Cordova has put in the time to become a state champion three times over so there's a lot to be said for time and effort.
