After giving up an early goal, the Lady Trojans would regroup and then hold off a late Fillie attack.

They grow up so fast. She already has the I-Phone…next up is the keys to the car. It’s only a matter of time.

Kelly Walsh at Number 5 Natrona…first half…Natrona wearing the white…Peyton Dean has a break-away opportunity but Shelby Bulfer with the rejection, just in the nick of time. She couldn’t just stand there and wait…she had to do something, and she did the right thing on that play.

The Fillies would stay after it…Erin Devault beats her defender to the ball…gets around the obstacle and squeezes in a shot between Bulfer and the goal post. That’s how you get the job done. 10 minutes into this game and N-C is on the board leading 1-to-nothing.

The Lady Trojans would get their opportunity to answer in the form of a penalty kick down the road…Taylor Hockley picks a low target…keeps it on the ground and connects. That was not too difficult and this game was knotted up at 1-goal a-piece, going into halftime.

2nd half…some plays ended up being a little bit weird, but that’s how the ball bounces sometimes.  Bulfer blocks the head-shot with her face. She did not have much time to react, but she was in the right place at the right time, that’s for sure.

However…Courtney Stratton for Natrona thought that save was so awesome, she wanted to try it herself. POW! Right in the kisser and that one hurt a little bit. Here’s another look at it in slow motion. I would not say that this is funny…it’s just one of those moments that make you cringe and say…OUCH! They gave her an ice bag and she was fine.

On the other end…K-W would eventually make a move…actually it was Hockley doing the moving. She’ll put her left foot down and it was quick enough to get by the Natrona goalie and in for another point. The senior was having a good game and the visitors now lead 2-to-1.

Skipping ahead…time is starting to wind down and the Fillies need to get something going. This was their best shot. Bulfer was a little late, but thankfully for her, the goal-post made a save of its own.

Kelly Walsh…gets a big win, and they get it, in enemy territory. The beat their cross-town rivals…2-to-1.
