The Jackson Giants have been challenged all season, and now's the time of year they're hoping it pays off.

Jackson swept a pair of conference games from Rock Springs on Tuesday night. With four more conference games left at the Double-A level, the Giants are looking to make a late-season surge up the league standings.

WyoPreps caught up with Jackson manager Jason Huggins while they were in Cheyenne for a tournament. The Giants had just lost to the Sixers, 4-2, the night before. Huggins feels like his squad is rounding into form. Jackson is 26-31 on the season.

The Giants' seed for the Double-A state tournament remains a little uncertain at this time. Jackson will be in Sheridan for the state championships, which are July 25-29, 2022.
