Sheridan athlete Jacob Boint will be taking his skills to the Midwest to play baseball at Indiana Wesleyan. Boint has played baseball with the Sheridan Troopers Legion baseball team as a right handed pitcher and infielder.

Boint also had an outstanding career in football as Sheridan win the 4A state title in 2019. For the season Boint threw for 1661 yards with 20 touchdown passes and just 4 interceptions. He also ran the ball for 452 yards with 10 touchdowns as was named all state as an at large offensive selection. He was named 2nd team all state at the quarterback spot. Boint also had 3 fumble recoveries on defense.

In 2018, Boint threw for 1460 yards with 14 touchdown passes and a completion rate of 52%. He was named 2nd team all state and also played basketball for the Broncs in his junior year, averaging 3 points per game.

Indiana Wesleyan is an NAIA school located in Marion and went 20-30 on the diamond in 2019.
