The Lady Plainsmen would take advantage of an extra day of rest and pummel the Lady Broncs in the regional semi-finals.

The band must be doing good enough with their one note melody that they decided to take their act on the road...and it was the same song all over again.

Sheridan vs. Laramie in the 4A East Regional Semi-Finals...first half...Laramie wearing the white and trying to strike early...Lexi Coca tried to squeeze one in between Bailey McLean and the goal-post, but the Bronc senior will squeeze the ball out and force it out of bounds. Sheridan had an uphill battle in this game, after surviving a shootout the day before.

Here's a nifty highlight...Hailey Moon has a shot for the Lady Plainsmen...but it's deflected back to her...so she'll take the high road...off of McLean's finger-tips and into the back of the net...but...it counted for nothing as the line judge called off-sides before this highlight started...no goal, but a good highlight.

It was only a matter of time before the number 1 seed would catch a break...and here it is...McLean can not hang on...and Lindsey Martinez was there to clean up the mess and put everything away...that's how you follow up a shot and Laramie is on the board, leading 1-to-nothing.   ...and they were just getting started...Moon will casually go around the defense and fire for the top shelf...right underneath he cross bar and in for another score. This team looked relaxed and well rested as they should be...now the score is at 2-nil.

On the other end...this was probably the best shot that Sheridan had for the game...Megan Songer from 40 yards out...and Shelby Jackson was waiting on that ball. She had a pretty easy game in front of the net and the score would remain 2-zip going into halftime.

Second half...the Lady Plainsmen needed about 2-to-3 minutes to pick up where they left off...and this play was just simple textbook soccer...great diagonal from Martinez to Ariel Romero who will beat the goalie to the ball and find an open net. These girls had the game in cruise control with a commanding 3-nothing lead.

..and they would add on one more before they called off the dogs. Moon will get her second on an assist from Megan Dooley. That's more than enough...as the Lady Plainsmen would move on into the regional championship game...winning this contest...4-nil.
