The Laramie Lady Plainsmen volleyball team is off to a hot start in the 2020 season.

Laramie is one of two undefeated teams in the state with a 6-0 record through the first three weeks of the season.

Last Saturday, they beat Thunder Basin and Campbell County in quadrant crossover matches. It took four sets against the Bolts and three versus the Camels.

WyoPreps spoke with Laramie coach Jill Stucky and junior Alexis Stucky after both matches were finished. In the video above, both talked about the two victories that day, plus what they’ve learned about the team this season, what there is to work on, and how 4A volleyball is shaping up this season.

Laramie returns to action Thursday and Friday with conference matches against Cheyenne East and Cheyenne Central.
