Lingle Girls Basketball Wrap
The Lingle-Fort Laramie girls got it together at the 1A East Regional tournament and played their way into the state tournament, despite a sub.500 record. At that regional, the doggers beat Upton in the first round, then upset the top seed Rock River in the semi-finals and then lost to Arvada Clearmont in the finals. So Lingle as a #2 seed meet Farson in the opening round of the state tournament and lost 53-39. Savannah Mirich and Ashley Riley each had 11 points. Lingle was eliminated by Kaycee is a very competitive game 46-44 with Mirich throwing in 17 and Riley netting 15. Senior Kaelyn Riley averaged 14 points a game for this Dogger team with junior Ashley Riley averaging 11. Lingle does lose 3 seniors but will have 5 seniors next season.
