Lyman’s Aidan Varela Signs for College Soccer
Lyman High School's Aidan Varela has an opportunity to continue his soccer career at the next level.
Varela recently signed with William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA.
Aidan started every game for the Eagles since Lyman began its soccer program in 2020. He is the school's all-time leader in goals and assists, having led the Eagles in both statistical categories as a junior and senior.
Varela is an attacking midfielder and has also played outside midfielder.

William Penn University is a private school in Iowa. The Statesmen participate at the NAIA level of collegiate athletics. William Penn is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC).
