Rebekah Anderson of Moorcroft earned a first-round bye in the 110-pound weight class at the Girls State Wrestling Tournament and used it to her advantage on her way to the state championship. She made quick work of 3 opponents and won by fall each time. Anderson defeated Allison LeBlanc of Powell for the title and that was her 40th win of the year against just 6 losses.

It took a great deal of time and energy to get to the top of the podium and the junior continues the great tradition of wrestling at Moorcroft. We talked with her following that championship match and took winning all in stride.
