Powell Panther wrestler Bo Dearcorn will be staying right in Powell as he'll wrestle for Northwest College in the fall. Dearcorn rook 2nd place at the state tournament back in February in the 3A 170 pound division and finished the year with a record of 32-6. He was a Ron Thon champion this season at 170, beating Blaise Ronnau of Cheyenne East by a fall.

In 2019. Dearcorn once again placed 2nd at state, this time at 182 pounds but did post 40 wins for the season against just 10 losses. He took 5th at the 2019 Ron Thon tournament in Riverton at that weight. He wrestled at 170 pounds in his sophomore year posting a record of 32-17 and took 3rd place at the 3A state tournament.

His prep wrestling career began in 2017 as a freshman with a respectable 5th place finish at the state tournament with a record of 18-14. Dearcorn was named all-state twice in his high school career.
