PhotoFest: Cody Reaches 3A Championship Game Yet Again

Cody has been on a roll lately with just 3 losses in nearly 4 years of football and the Broncs will make a return appearance to War Memorial Stadium in Laramie for the 3A championship after a 52-14 home win over Evanston on Friday.

Cody had a terrific night running the football with 7 rushing touchdowns. Quarterback Maddux Ball had 2 of them, with Trey Smith, Jace Jarrett, Chase Hatch, Trey Schroeder, and Jacob Ball getting the rest. The Bronc defense was stellar as they picked off 3 passes and forced 4 turnovers total.

Cody will be making their 4th consecutive championship game appearance and won titles in 2020 and 2021. The Broncs lost to Star Valley in the title game last year and they'll meet Star Valley this year in the title game. Both teams will come into that game with records of 10-1. Evanston went 5-6 this season and had their best postseason run since 2007.
