PhotoFest: Wheatland Upends Upton-Sundance in 2A Football

Wheatland has been consistently inconsistent in 2A football in 2023. For the last 6 weeks, it's been a loss then a win, then another loss, and then another win, then a loss, and yet another win. The Bulldogs are 3-4 overall and 3-2 in the East following a 39-14 win over Upton-Sundance on Friday.

Wheatland quarterback Brock Peaslet had an all-star game with 133 yards rushing and a touchdown, along with 291 yards throwing and 3 touchdown passes. He was tough on the Upton-Sundance defense, to say the least. The Bulldogs are right in the 2A playoff race and can make it 2 wins in a row when they to 1-6 Burns.

Upton-Sundance is 2-3 in league play and 3-3 overall so they're on the outside, looking in at the 2A playoff picture, The Patriots will finish the regular season with a home game against a much improved Torrington team and then a road game at winless Glenrock.
