Worland and Rawlins slugged it out in 3A football on Friday with Worland finding a way to get by Rawlins 10-7. This is the 2nd time this season that the Warriors have won a 10-7 game as they edged Green River by that score earlier in the year.

Worland has struggled on offense but the defense has shined with Brody Thiel making a big difference. Rawlins has already won more games this season than the previous 3 seasons combined. They have an excellent running back in Zack Covolo who was averaging 122 yards per game on the ground entering the Worland game.

Worland is now 2-3 on the year and 1-1 in the 3A East while Rawlins is 2-4 overall and 0-2 in conference play, The Warriors have an intriguing game at Buffalo on Friday night and the Outlaws will be at home this week to take on Lander.
