Powell's Seth Horton Signs with Notre Dame College for Wrestling

Powell wrestler Seth Horton has signed on with Division II Notre Dame College in Ohio. Horton had a productive career with the Panther wrestling program as he earned a 3A state championship at 152 pounds in 2020 with a 5-2 win over Clay Reiner of Buffalo. He finished that season with a record of 37-3. Horton placed 2nd at 152 in 2021 as he lost in the championship match to Star Valley's Haze Child 7-0, but still had a great season at 30-3. In his freshman year, Horton went 30-17 and went 1-2 in the 3A state tournament at 145 pounds.

Horton was also named 3A all-conference in football as a member of Powell's offensive line. Notre Dame College is in the Cleveland suburbs and competes in the Mountain East Conference in Division II.
