Riverton's Nathan Hutchison Signs With McCook for Baseball

Riverton's Nathan Hutchison is a solid all-around athlete and his next step will be on the baseball diamond playing for McCook Community College in Nebraska. Hutchison is a two-time all-state player for the Riverton Raiders American Legion team and hit an astounding .469 with 7 home runs, 56 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases. His on-base percentage was .571 and his on-base/slugging percentage was an outstanding 1.488. Defensively, he played 2nd base, shortstop, and left field.

Hutchison was also a key member of the Riverton Wolverine football team as he caught 20 balls for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns. He rang up 572 all-purpose yards during the 2022 season. Hutchison also plays on the Riverton basketball team, averaging 4 points a game.

McCook is a junior college that posted a record of 29-30 in the 2022 season.
